Dr. Clarke is a non-denominational wedding minister officiating destination weddings in Charleston, SC. He formerly served as a pastor for fifteen years in the United Methodist Church. Dr. Clarke officiates religious, non-religious, spiritual, and interfaith wedding ceremonies.

 

Dr. Clarke earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew University with a concentration in 21st Century Ministerial Leadership, the Master of Divinity degree from Duke University, and the BA degree in Psychology, Sociology/Anthropology, and Religious Studies from North Carolina Wesleyan College.  He served as a short-term missionary in Hawaii and the Fiji Islands where he developed a love and appreciation for all things tropical.

 

Besides writing imaginative fiction, Dr. Clarke is an educator teaching high school English in Charleston, SC.
